The class had a wonderful visit to Streamvale Farm today and even the showers did not dampen their enjoyment and fun. There was lots of new vocabulary to learn with the names of farm animals and their young, how they are cared for and fed as well as lots of interesting facts on animal behaviour. Petting and feeling the animals helped the children learn how important it is to care for them and our environment.
